1. Chris Paul, Oklahoma City Thunder
Paul landed with the Oklahoma City Thunder and had a much better season than expected. The Thunder won 44 games behind Paul and earned a spot in the postseason. At 35 years old, Paul is owed a ton of money and could be on the move soon.
Over the next two years, Paul is owed an average of $42.8 million per year. In the 2019-20 NBA season, Paul continued to be one of the top point guards in the league. The Thunder have value with Paul on the court, but his age and contract might cause an issue.
The main rumor has been the New York Knicks being interested in taking on a huge contract and Paul could be the perfect one.
Paul still has the ability to run an offense and dominate the mid-range game. He has been a force in the league for a long time and that will not change moving forward. It just might be on a new team in 2020-2021.
CP3 seems likely to be the top star on the move this offseason. Other potential destinations could be the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers.
