Package: Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Eric Paschall, 2020 first-round pick (No. 2 overall), 2021 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick, 2022-2023 first-round pick swap
There are some constants in this deal. Poole and Paschall are in all three because they would give the Bucks some young talent they could develop. The Warriors’ second pick this year is obvious and it will ultimately cost them another first at least. This is the biggest haul, but it could land the Warriors another player.
Green and Paschall would immediately become the two best options for Milwaukee at the power forward position. That might allow the Bucks to include a player like Ersan Ilyasova in the deal. He would be a useful three-point threat off the bench for Golden State.
Because of the haul, the Warriors could even get another pick themselves in this deal. The Bucks currently hold the 24th pick in this draft from the Indiana Pacers.
This is a deal that involves a lot of moving parts. It is ultimately based on how the Bucks prioritize competing right away and their financial situation. With what they are getting in return, Milwaukee could be persuaded by this deal with the thought of Giannis possibly leaving next year in free agency.
