Tyrell Terry, G, Stanford
When Tyrell Terry’s offseason had begun, he was thought of as being a 2nd round selection— mostly because teams wanted to see him add weight to his frame. He has since taken advantage of an unprecedented length of time to prepare for the NBA Draft.
Now, Terry weighs in at 174 pounds and was measured as being 6-foot-3 in shoes. When factoring in his improved athleticism and already elite shooting efficiency, there’s a lot to like about him as a draft prospect.
Multiple league sources have told NBA Analysis Network there is a ‘strong chance’ Terry is selected by a team at the back end of the lottery. However, it’s likely he will be off the board before the 20s.
Terry has been highly impressive in interviews with NBA teams with his maturity and basketball IQ. He may not be the biggest guard around, but he’s clearly got what it takes to be a key contributor at the next level.
