The Indiana Pacers have a crowded frontcourt with Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner, both of whom are 24-years-old. Turner has been the subject of trade speculation in recent weeks, and as we look for hypothetical trade partners for Indiana, the Charlotte Hornets have a big need.

Bismack Biyombo will be a free agent this offseason, and Tuner would be an upgrade over the incumbent, Cody Zeller.

Turner hasn’t quite developed into the star the Pacers hoped he’d be, but he’s still a talented young center who can protect the rim at all times. He is under contract for three more seasons before he’ll be a free agent in 2023 at age 27.

The Hornets would face an opportunity to rectify a mistake that was made in the 2015 NBA Draft when they took Frank Kaminsky with the No. 8 pick instead of a better option that includes Turner.

As the Indiana Pacers assess their offseason options, let’s take a look at a hypothetical trade scenario that would send Myles Turner to the Charlotte Hornets.
