3 free agents named potential targets for the Boston Celtics

Brad Stevens and the Boston Celtics came up just short of the NBA Finals this season. They were unable to defeat the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. Looking ahead to the upcoming offseason, the Celtics are going to look to make some moves to improve their roster to make the Finals.

Obviously, the rumor mill will be full of big names being mentioned in trade rumors surrounding the Celtics. Among those names have been Myles Turner, Victor Oladipo, and Karl-Anthony Towns.

While the Celtics could look to swing a big trade for a star, it seems much more likely that they will target supporting cast pieces.

Thankfully, there are a lot of free agency additions that the Celtics could make to take the next step. They already have their star and franchise player in Jayson Tatum. Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown are also quality players with big-time potential.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three free agents who have been mentioned as potential targets for the Celtics.
