Trade For Chris Paul
The Oklahoma City Thunder are expected to field offers for Chris Paul, and the Bulls would be a team that makes sense as a landing spot.
It was Donovan, of course, who coached Paul last season in Oklahoma City, so the 35 year-old guard is already familiar with Donovan’s system.
Paul is no longer in his prime, but he played exceedingly well last season for the Thunder, and he can make an impact on his next team, too.
Paul started all 70 of his appearances last season, and averaged 17.6 points and 6.7 assists per game. He had an eFG% of 55%, and for just the third time in his career, he shot 90% or better from the free throw line.
When the Thunder acquired Paul, he had to be in the trade from Houston to match Russell Westbrook’s salary. But after a great showing last season, it would be Paul who’d be the headliner of this deal going to Chicago.
