If Russell Westbrook is on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s list of players he’d like to team up with, the Bucks should pursue this deal.
For three straight seasons, from 2016-17 to 2018-19, Westbrook averaged a triple-double.
He’s an incredible talent, even at 31, who can help the Bucks win next season. Antetokounmpo would be the beneficiary of Westbrook’s ability to create offensively, but Westbrook can also take over a game at a moment’s notice.
Westbrook, like Antetokounmpo, is seeking playoff success after coming up short in Oklahoma City and Houston. Westbrook never struggles with motivation, and he’d embrace the expectations in Milwaukee.
