5 teams who should consider trading for Charlotte Hornets’ No. 3 pick

The Charlotte Hornets hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, and Charlotte should have many options once the top two picks are off the board.

Depending on how the first and second picks shake out in front of Charlotte, the Hornets could make and keep their pick or trade it.

In the post-Kemba Walker era, the Hornets could use a star with the name recognition of a LaMelo Ball. But Ball may be gone by the third pick, in which case it wouldn’t be a bad idea for the Hornets to trade down.
