A sign-and-trade for Bogdan Bodganovic could hinge on the departure of Victor Oladipo from Indiana.

If Indiana trades Oladipo, they’d need a guard such as Bogdanovic to replace Oladipo. The Pacers could find this replacement by moving Turner.

Bogdanovic wants a new contract, and the Pacers could provide it via a sign and trade.

The Pacers would also acquire center Richaun Holmes, who could replace some of Turner’s size in the front court. Holmes, 26, is entering the final year of his contract.

For as talented as Myles Turner is, he hasn’t been able to bring the type of success that Pacers fans expect. Indiana could use its current assets to change the dynamic of the team as a new head coach emerges for next season.
