It’s decision time for the Hawks. Do they believe they can win soon by adding pieces in the draft or do they need to look for a huge deal for a talent like Karl-Anthony Towns? They have the sixth pick in this year’s draft along with Trae Young, John Collins, and Clint Capela.
The Hawks like Collins but would you trade him for Towns? The answer is simple. The same question could be asked about Capela or even De’Andre Hunter.
Now, it would be all about what Minnesota would want in return. It seems unreasonable to give up all three, not to mention their first-round pick. The duo of Towns and Young is something to get excited about in Atlanta.
That is something the Hawks have not had over the last few years. They believe Young is the point guard that can take them to the next level but it is still up in the air. He needs help around him and Towns would be incredible help.
