4. Golden State Warriors

It has been rumored that the Warriors have been keeping tabs on Minnesota’s big man. The Warriors have made it clear that they are interested in adding a big man. People looking for a big splash keep referencing the rumor that Golden State will be going after Giannis Antetokounmpo in free agency.

Karl-Anthony Towns is a player who would fit in well in Golden State. He can shoot, which fits right into the game plan. Towns is a true seven-footer who can rebound on both ends of the court. He can also handle the ball and pass effectively.

Because the Warriors have fewer assets that they would be willing to part ways with, obviously Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, they would have to give up draft picks. This is not a big deal for the Warriors given the fact that they will be picking later in the first round for years to come. This is the one year where they will carry a top pick.

Draymond Green and Eric Paschall come to mind as players who could be dealt along with first-round picks for Towns. The Warriors had their down year because of injuries. Now they are focused on getting Curry and Thompson back and contending for another NBA title.
