Pacers star Victor Oladipo shares revealing comments about his future

Victor Oladipo has been the face of the Indiana Pacers over the last few years. However, it appears that his time with the franchise could be coming to an end soon. Rumors have stated that Oladipo will look to find his way out of Indiana this coming offseason.

On Instagram, Oladipo made some very intriguing and telling comments about his future with the Pacers and what he is looking for moving forward.

What should be taken from these comments from Oladipo? Quite simply, he is not going to be able to win a championship with the Pacers. Talking about wanting to win championships means that he likely does want out of Indiana.

During the 2019-20 NBA season with the Pacers, Oladipo made his much-anticipated return from a gruesome ruptured quad. Indiana has stuck by him throughout the entire process and the fans love Oladipo more than he could find anywhere else.

In the 19 regular season games that he played this season, Oladipo averaged 14.5 points per game to go along with 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists. He scored 17.8 points to go along with 3.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in four playoff games with the Pacers.

At 28 years of age, Oladipo will hit free agency next offseason. That leaves the Pacers in a bad spot. They can either trade him this offseason or risk losing him for nothing next offseason.

Rumors are going to continue circling the Pacers and Victor Oladipo. It seems very likely that he will end up being traded. Indiana will have to rebuild a bit without their All-Star guard, but he should bring back some value.

Expect to hear a ton of news and speculation about what the Pacers are going to do moving forward. Oladipo seems on his way out and that will leave Domantas Sabonis, T.J. Warren, and Malcolm Brogdon as the faces of the franchise.
