The best trade the Bucks could offer for Chris Paul

The Milwaukee Bucks are heading into what could be a pivotal offseason for the future of their franchise. Giannis Antetokounmpo is set to hit free agency after the 2020-21 season and the Bucks need to add talent to keep him happy. Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Chris Paul is a name that has come up often in rumors.

Antetokounmpo is rumored to have told the Bucks that he wants to play with Paul. While there have been reports that Milwaukee has “zero plans” to pursue Paul via trade, that could change quickly when the offseason gets underway.

Paul would be an ideal fit for the Bucks. He may not be the young dominant star that he once was, but he did just help lead the Thunder to the playoffs.

During the 2019-20 NBA season with the Thunder, Paul ended up averaging 17.6 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. He shot 48.9 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 36.5 percent of his three-point attempts. Those numbers would look good for the Bucks.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at the best possible trade offer that the Bucks could offer the Thunder to acquire Chris Paul.
