Are Ben Simmons & Joel Embiid On The Same Page?

As good as the Philadelphia 76ers are, there’s no debating they could be better, It all starts with their two superstars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. It’s been proven over the last two seasons that the team needs both players on the floor at the same time to reach their potential.

This season has been a tough one for GM Elton Brand. There were rumors that the 76ers may have had an interest in trading either Simmons or Embiid. While it has been denied, that has to be sitting in the back of their minds. Will the players be able to put that to the side and lead the team to a title?

If Embiid and Simmons can find themselves on the same page with a common goal of bringing a championship to Philadelphia, the 76ers will be a tough out. Regardless of the veterans they have on the roster, Brown understands that his team’s success hinges on his two young players.

Embiid was having another great season with averages of 23.4 points and 11.8 rebounds while playing 30.2 minutes per game. Simmons, on the other hand, has become one of the NBA’s best defenders to go along with season averages of 16.7 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds while playing 35.7 minutes per game. If they can channel that energy together, the Philadelphia 76ers will be tough to handle.
