Average at Least 18 Points Per Game in His New Role
Tyreke Evans will be playing a completely new role this season than he did last year with the Grizzlies. He will be coming off the bench for the Pacers, but will likely be playing starter’s minutes. That role should suit Evans well, but he will need to keep up the same production that he had last year.
Averaging at least 18 points per game is exactly the type of production the Pacers need. That would give them the solid and consistent scorer that they desperately needed last season behind Victor Oladipo.
When Oladipo was forced to miss games, Indiana looked like a completely different team. Scoring was an obvious issue and they simply didn’t have a leader on the court. Evans can help fix both of those weaknesses.
If Evans can continue scoring at a high level, the Pacers are going to be a tough team to beat.
