It is the NBA pre-season and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has found something to be unhappy about.

LeBron James has achieved everything possible in the NBA, winning the championship with three different teams.

This year he even has his own son Bronny on the LA Lakers, adding extra intrigue to the upcoming 2024/25 season.

LA Lakers next game

The LA Lakers next pre-season game is against the Milwaukee Bucks, before returning to LA to host Golden State Warriors next week.

LeBron James, now 39-years-old, is not happy about the schedule, taking to X to complain.

He wrote: “Can someone please explain to me why we’re getting on a plane and heading to Milwaukee for 1 pre-season game!?!?”

James knows there is lots of travelling upcoming during the busy NBA season and clearly is not on board, figuratively, with the Lakers’ pre-season schedule.

But perhaps predictably, the legendary player’s message has received plenty of backlash.

How NBA fans responded to LeBron James’ message

There is little sympathy for LeBron James‘ complaint, with the NBA’s all-time leading scorer receiving lots of critical responses.

“Because you’re getting paid millions of dollars?”, posted one blunt reply to James’ question.

Another wrote: “Bro it is literally your job that you get paid millions for. I think you’ll survive.”

A further critical message argued: “Cause you get paid nicely to do it and people spend a lot of money for you to do it! Now get back to take your kid to work day!”

Another response quipped: “Would you rather ride a bus like the WNBA?”

“Probably because it’s a 29 hour drive,” pointed out another.

One fan suggested he was simply voicing his discontent to the wrong people, “You’re LeBron James bro, you know who to ask & it ain’t us. lol.”

“The Celtics went to Abu Dhabi bro,” another fan pointed out.

These are all pretty valid points, just as LeBron James is entitled to say if he is not happy about something, he has earned that. But his latest view is not one many have sympathy for…
