The Cleveland Cavaliers enter the offseason with expectations of being one of the most active teams on the trade market following their second-round NBA playoff exit against the top-seeded Boston Celtics.

Rumors have been circulating about superstar Donovan Mitchell potentially being traded, but it’s unclear if this is true. Mitchell’s teammate, Darius Garland, could also be on the move instead.

Aside from Mitchell and Garland, center Jarrett Allen might be traded, with the Sacramento Kings, Oklahoma City Thunder, and New Orleans Pelicans showing interest, according to analyst Evan Dammarell.

“The general vibe across the league, according to sources, is that Allen and Garland are the two who could become available for the right price if Mitchell re-signs with the Cavaliers,” Dammarell said. “While Allen has been linked to the New Orleans Pelicans for quite a while now, sources tell Right Down Euclid that the Oklahoma City Thunder and Sacramento Kings could be interested in the former All-Star.”

Despite missing the playoffs due to a rib injury, Allen had a solid season, averaging a career-high 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

The Cavaliers’ offseason is off to a rocky start, with reports of player unrest surfacing. Allen’s potential suitors include a few win-now teams looking to upgrade their frontcourt.
