The Dallas Mavericks have announced that superstar Luka Doncic will be sidelined for the upcoming game against the Oklahoma City Thunder during Thursday’s NBA action due to a left hamstring injury.
This development comes after Doncic left Wednesday’s game against the Golden State Warriors prematurely, in a match that concluded with a 109-99 victory for the Mavericks, because of discomfort in his left hamstring.
Doncic will remain behind as his team heads to Oklahoma for the second match of their back-to-back series. Following their clash with the Thunder, the Mavericks are scheduled for a break before hosting the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.

This injury interruption ends Doncic’s impressive run of seven consecutive games with a triple-double, an achievement halted Wednesday when he scored 21 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and delivered 3 assists before leaving the court with 6:46 left on the clock.
Before re-entering the game shortly before his departure, Doncic was seen applying heat to his left hamstring. His exit came shortly after an alley-oop pass to teammate Daniel Gafford, after which Doncic appeared to be in pain upon landing. He promptly communicated his need to exit to coach Jason Kidd and made his way to the locker room.
