The Chicago Bulls staged an incredible comeback victory against the Sacramento Kings, overcoming a 22-point deficit to clinch a 113-109 win during Monday’s NBA action. This win serves as a testament to the team’s resilience and ability to find a path to victory under challenging circumstances.

Coby White led the charge with a career-high 37 points, playing a crucial role in the Bulls’ offensive surge. His performance was complemented by DeMar DeRozan, who scored 19 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter, propelling the team to victory in the game’s final moments.

“At this point in the season, however you can get wins, you’ve got to get wins,” White said. “You’ve got to start stacking wins. I don’t care how we get them. I don’t care how it looks. At the end of the day, if we win, that’s all we care about.”

The victory was particularly sweet for the Bulls as it snapped a four-game losing streak against the Kings. White’s contribution extended beyond scoring, as he also tallied seven assists and five rebounds, while the team outscored Sacramento 36-18 in the crucial fourth period.

“I was just trying to let the game come to me, not force it,” White said. “I was just trying to play within the flow of the offense.”

DeRozan’s second-half performance was a significant factor in the Bulls’ comeback, especially considering his limited attempts in the first half.

“Some games I feel it right away and some games you’ve got to kind of ease into it,” he explained. “And just me knowing myself, I know at one point I was going to get it going. So, came through when we needed it.”

Ayo Dosunmu and Nikola Vucevic also made notable contributions, with Dosunmu scoring 20 points and Vucevic securing a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

On the Kings’ side, De’Aaron Fox returned from injury to lead his team with 20 points and 10 assists, while Domantas Sabonis continued his double-double streak before fouling out late in the game.

Despite being outrebounded, the Bulls capitalized on turnovers, converting them into crucial points that ultimately led to their win.

“I thought we were really active with our hands,” Bulls coach Billy Donovan said, praising his team’s defensive effort.

The Bulls and Kings will both look to build on this game as they prepare for their next matches, with Chicago visiting the Utah Jazz and Sacramento facing the Los Angeles Lakers.
