During the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, the Eastern Conference aimed for a groundbreaking 200 points by halftime and continued this ambitious scoring effort into the game’s latter half.
Jalen Brunson, a guard for the New York Knicks, shared with the media that hitting the 200-point mark was a collective target set during the break.
The All-Star Game, known for its lack of defensive play, seemed to escalate to new heights of scoring frenzy on this occasion.
“That was a goal of ours,” Brunson said. “We wanted to get 200 points by any means necessary.”
