Thaddeus Young is on the verge of joining the Phoenix Suns for the remainder of the 2023-24 NBA season, according to ESPN.

“Free agent forward Thaddeus Young is finalizing a deal to sign with the Phoenix Suns for the rest of the season, sources told ESPN on Tuesday,” Wojnarowski said.

Young will add a veteran presence to the Suns’ bench as they aim for success in the upcoming playoffs and the remainder of the season.

Having spent over two years with the Toronto Raptors, Young was traded to Brooklyn at the trade deadline, only to be released and enter free agency shortly thereafter.

With a star-studded lineup featuring Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Bradley Beal, the Suns will benefit from Young’s experience to bolster their bench depth.

The 35-year-old forward has contributed an average of five points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists across 15 minutes per game during his tenure with the Raptors this season.
