According to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Utah Jazz have talked to the Toronto Raptors about acquiring Bruce Brown.
The Jazz have discussed a framework with the Raptors that would send Brown to Utah in return for Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji.
“The Jazz, according to league sources, have discussed a framework with the Raptors that would bring Brown to Utah in return for Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji,” Fischer wrote in his NBA trade rumors article. “What draft capital could be part of that conversation remains to be seen, but Toronto has been consistent with its messaging to rival teams that it is looking for a first-round pick for Brown, sources said.”
Brown is averaging 11.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists this season while shooting 46.9% from the field, 33.1% from beyond the arc and 83.7% from the free-throw line. He’s making $22 million.

Olynyk is averaging 8.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists while shooting 56.2% from the floor, 42.9% from 3 and 84.2% from the foul line. He’s making $12.2 million in the final year of his deal.
Finally, Agbaji is averaging 5.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists while shooting 42.6% overall, 33.1% from deep and 75.0% from the free-throw line. He’s making $4.1 million.
The Jazz are 26-26 on the season. They are in 10th place in the Western Conference standings. Meanwhile, the Raptors are 17-33. They are in 12th place in the Eastern Conference standings.
