According to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Dallas Mavericks are interested in trading for Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins and Charlotte Hornets forward PJ Washington.
The Mavericks are no longer pursuing Brooklyn Nets forward Dorian Finney-Smith and Hornets forward Miles Bridges.
“Dallas is definitely looking at power forwards and I’ve been told Dorian Finney-Smith is no longer someone they’re considering there,” Fischer said on the Ball Don’t Lie podcast. “I’ve been told Miles Bridges is no longer someone they’re considering there, but Andrew Wiggins, PJ Washington, those are two names I’m confident in.”
Wiggins is averaging 12.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.5 blocks this season while shooting 43.7% from the field, 31.1% from beyond the arc and 71.7% from the free-throw line. He’s making $24.3 million.
