Stephen Curry led the charge with 37 points, including eight 3-pointers, while Jonathan Kuminga contributed 26 points in the Golden State Warriors’ 119-107 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers during Tuesday’s NBA action.

Since Draymond Green’s return from suspension, the Golden State Warriors have regained their identity, marked by effective ball movement and tightened defensive execution. The Warriors are hitting their stride with Curry consistently excelling, Andrew Wiggins finding his stride, and Jonathan Kuminga showcasing his talents as a playmaker.

This win came despite Klay Thompson’s absence due to illness. Green’s impact on the team’s cohesion and performance was evident, with both Curry and Kuminga acknowledging his influence.

“It’s fun,” Green said, “I think it’s starting to come together for us now. We’ve just got to string some wins together.”

Curry’s performance included a third consecutive game, scoring 30 or more points and impressive 3-point shooting. Wiggins added 23 points, demonstrating his return to form. Warriors coach Steve Kerr highlighted Green’s role in elevating defensive and offensive players like Kuminga and Wiggins.

“Draymond really changed things with his return because he connects those guys at both ends of the floor, just with his communication defensively and the way he helps get us organized offensively,” Kerr said. “Great to see Wiggs and JK both playing so well and playing well together. It’s fun, you can see the team we’re shifting a little bit with how we’re playing and who we’re playing.”

For the 76ers, Tobias Harris scored 26 points with 10 rebounds, while Joel Embiid added 14 points before leaving the game due to an injury. On a six-game winning streak, Philadelphia has now faced four consecutive losses.

“There is nobody in the world who can stop you,” Green said of Kuminga.

Brandin Podziemski, filling in for Thompson, contributed 11 points and demonstrated his defensive prowess by drawing charges. The Warriors’ teamwork was displayed, with Dario Saric and Green facilitating the ball movement.

The Warriors’ victory marked an important turnaround after two close losses to playoff contenders. The 76ers, missing Tyrese Maxey due to injury, continued to struggle without him.

Golden State expects the return of Moses Moody from injury during their upcoming road trip, and Chris Paul is progressing in his recovery, with light on-court workouts planned.

Looking ahead, the 76ers will conclude their road trip against the Utah Jazz, while the Warriors will begin a five-game trip, including a rematch with the 76ers in early February.
