According to NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Atlanta Hawks don’t want to trade Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Even though the Hawks aim to trim future salaries, they want to keep Bogdanovic, who is sixth in the NBA this season in 3-point field goals (141).
“Despite the goal of trimming future salary, one player with a sizable contract going forward the Hawks seemingly want to keep past the trade deadline is Bogdan Bogdanovic, according to rival executives and league sources who’ve spoken with HoopsHype,” Scotto wrote.
Bogdanovic is averaging 17.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.2 blocks this season while shooting 43.1% from the field, 37.1% from beyond the arc and 90.3% from the free-throw line. He’s making $18.7 million.
