According to NBA insider Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors are interested in trading for Toronto Raptors guard Bruce Brown.
The Raptors are expected to move Brown before the February 8 trade deadline. They acquired the Miami product from the Indiana Pacers in the blockbuster Pascal Siakam trade.
“Pertaining to the NBA trade deadline at hand and what options the Warriors currently have, Bruce Brown is on the Warriors’ radar, sources said,” Siegel wrote. “Brown, who was traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Toronto Raptors in a package for All-Star Pascal Siakam, finds himself as one of the better players on the market this season. The Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks have been two teams in contact with the Raptors in recent weeks regarding Brown, sources said.”
In 38 games this season with the Pacers and Raptors, Brown is averaging 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.3 blocks while shooting 47.6% from the field, 33.0% from beyond the arc and 82.6% from the free-throw line. He’s making $22 million.

Brown signed a two-year, $45 million contract with the Pacers last offseason in unrestricted free agency. He has a club option worth $23 million for next season.
Brown has career averages of 8.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks with the Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets, Pacers and Raptors. He helped the Nuggets win the 2023 NBA title over the Miami Heat in five games.
The Lakers are in ninth place in the West, the Warriors are in 12th place in the West and the Knicks are in fourth place in the East. Brown almost signed with the Lakers last summer before ultimately joining the Pacers.
