Amid increasing discussions about the Los Angeles Lakers making significant moves before the NBA trade deadline, LeBron James offered a straightforward perspective when questioned.

James fired back at a reporter’s question about the trade deadline by stating, “I don’t play fantasy basketball,” a remark that generated considerable buzz.

James elaborated on his viewpoint, stressing the disrespect inherent in speculating about the Lakers’ needs or deficiencies. He explained his focus is on the players currently wearing the Lakers’ uniform and their daily commitment to the team.

“What I do is focus on the guys that’s here and in this uniform and show up to work every day,” James said. “It’s too disrespectful to be thinking about what we need or what we don’t have. I don’t do that to my teammates.”
