According to NBA insider Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Golden State Warriors could trade for Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray.
The Hawks are expected to trade Murray before the trade deadline in February.
The Warriors desperately need to make a trade to save their season and Murray is a player who can help them on both ends of the court. The 27-year-old is one of the best two-way players in the NBA.

A one-time All-Star, Murray is averaging 21.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.3 blocks this season while shooting 46.6% from the field, 39.4% from beyond the arc and 81.4% from the free-throw line. He’s making $17.7 million.
The Hawks are expected to trade Murray and small forward De’Andre Hunter this season. Under CBA rules, the Warriors could send Moses Moody, Chris Paul, Cory Joseph and draft picks to the Hawks for Murray and Hunter.
If the Warriors figured out a way to acquire Murray, head coach Steve Kerr could start Murray, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney.
Murray has career averages of 14.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.3 blocks with the San Antonio Spurs and Hawks. He signed a four-year, $114 million extension with Atlanta in July. Murray will make $24.8 million next season, the first year of his extension.

Along with the Warriors, Murray has been linked to the Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors. It will be fascinating to see where the Hawks send Murray, who is represented by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports Group.
