The Sacramento Kings offered Harrison Barnes to the Toronto Raptors for Pascal Siakam, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
The Raptors declined that offer and the Kings have pulled out of Siakam trade talks for now.
The Raptors lost to the Kings in Sacramento on January 5. Siakam finished with 18 points, four rebounds, nine assists, two steals and one block in 37 minutes while shooting 6-of-11 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line. Barnes, meanwhile, put up 16 points, four rebounds and two assists while shooting 5-of-12 overall, 5-of-8 from 3 and 1-of-2 from the foul line.

The Kings have been calling opposing front offices to gauge the value of Barnes and Kevin Huerter, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. Barnes is making $17 million this season. He signed a three-year, $54 million extension with Sacramento in June.
Barnes is averaging 11.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.2 blocks this season while shooting 47.9% from the field, 41.0% from beyond the arc and 81.7% from the free-throw line. He is fifth on the Kings in points per game.
Siakam is averaging 22.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks this season while shooting 52.3% from the floor, 29.7% from 3 and 75.5% from the foul line. The NBA champion and two-time All-Star becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer. Any team that trades for Siakam this season can only offer him a two-year extension.

Siakam is making $37.9 million this season. He signed a four-year, $136.9 million rookie contract extension with the Raptors in October 2019. Most people around the NBA expect the Raptors to trade Siakam before the trade deadline in February.
