The Sacramento Kings are emerging as a serious suitor in a Pascal Siakam trade with the Toronto Raptors, according to NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
The Raptors have ramped up trade talks surrounding Siakam, who becomes an unrestricted free agent after this season.
The Kings would like to form a “Big 3” of Siakam, De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. Sacramento is 20-13 on the season, good for fifth place in the Western Conference standings.

Siakam is averaging 22.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.2 blocks this season while shooting 52.1% from the floor, 28.8% from beyond the arc and 75.1% from the free-throw line. He has five double-doubles.
Any team that trades for Siakam this season can only offer him a two-year extension. Siakam, if he’s traded by the Raptors, is unlikely to sign an extension, per NBA insider Marc Stein.
Siakam is making $37.9 million this season. He signed a four-year, $136.9 million contract with the Raptors in October 2019. The two-time All-Star doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract.
Siakam has career averages of 17.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks. He has made two All-NBA teams and won the 2018-19 Most Improved Player of the Year Award. Siakam also won the 2019 title with the Raptors over the Golden State Warriors in six games.

Along with the Kings, Siakam is drawing interest from the Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.
