Kevin Durant strongly fired back at a report saying he’s frustrated with the Phoenix Suns. NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Christmas that Durant wasn’t happy with his situation in Phoenix.

“Start with Kevin Durant. You talk to people in Phoenix and around that organization, you know, they can feel the frustration with Durant,” Wojnarowski said. “Part of that, certainly, is the missed games for Brad Beal. This team was built around those three stars. The underwhelming supporting cast, that comes from those massive trades for Durant and Bradley Beal that really gutted the organization and let them having to sign a lot of minimum players to fill out the payroll.”

The Suns are only 14-15 on the season. They are in 11th place in the Western Conference standings and Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal have played in just two games together.
Durant is averaging 30.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists this season while shooting 51.8% from the floor, 46.9% from beyond the arc and 87.5% from the free-throw line. The superstar is making $46.4 million.
Sources have told NBA Analysis Network that Durant isn’t thinking about requesting a trade from the Suns. Durant requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets last season to Phoenix. The Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the 2023 playoffs in five games but lost to the Denver Nuggets in the semifinals in six games.
Phoenix traded Chris Paul to the Washington Wizards for Beal and Deandre Ayton to the Portland Trail Blazers for Jusuf Nurkic this past offseason. The Suns are 16th in the NBA in points per game and 15th in points per game allowed.
