Domantas Sabonis notched his fourth triple-double of the NBA season, leading the Sacramento Kings to a 120-105 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Sabonis’ impressive stats included 28 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds, earning praise from teammate Harrison Barnes for his dedication and hard work.

“We see the work that he puts in,” Barnes said of Sabonis. “It’s a testament to his commitment.”

The Kings, on a strong run with six wins in their last eight games, improved their record to 17-10. Kevin Durant scored 28 points for the Suns, but Phoenix’s recent struggles continued, losing four of their last five games to bring their record to an even 14-14.

A key moment in the game came in the third quarter when the Kings hit their first 11 shots. De’Aaron Fox set a new Sacramento-era assist record with 2,581, surpassing the previous mark on a shot by Barnes. Fox ended the game with 23 points and seven assists, a milestone teammate Keegan Murray found impressive.

“I’ve only known him for a couple of years but to see him break a lot of records while I’m here is pretty cool,” Murray said of Fox’s record.

Devin Booker added 24 points and seven assists for the Suns, who experienced a tense first half, resulting in technical fouls for Durant, Booker, and coach Frank Vogel.

The Suns were without several key players, including guard Bradley Beal due to an ankle injury, forward Josh Okogie with a hip strain, and center Jusuf Nurkic for personal reasons. Beal, acquired from the Washington Wizards, has been limited to only six games this season due to injuries.

Coach Vogel expressed frustration with the Suns’ performance, particularly in the third quarter, and emphasized the need for improved offensive execution.

“Another tough third quarter,” Vogel said. “We have to be better and improve our offensive execution. … We are not playing well enough right now.”

Looking ahead, the Suns will host Dallas, while the Kings will welcome Minnesota, with both games set for the upcoming days.
