Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis re-aggravated his hip/groin injury against the Dallas Mavericks.
Davis is questionable to face the San Antonio Spurs. The future Hall of Famer talked about his injury after the Lakers-Mavericks game.
“Day-to-day, seeing how it feels,” Davis said. “Tonight, just test it out in pregame. Felt good. Had some moments in the game where I felt it, kinda tweaked it again, but just seeing how it feels going forward. Each and every game, a day at a time. Make decisions from there.”

Davis is averaging 23.3 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.7 blocks on the season for the Lakers while shooting 54.3% from the field, 26.7% from beyond the arc and 82.2% from the free-throw line.
The Lakers are 14-10 on the season. They are in sixth place in the Western Conference standings. Davis, who has been prone to getting hurt his entire career, is doing everything he can to play.
“They say to keep getting treatment, keep trying to get it to feel good to keep it feeling good,” Davis said.
The Lakers’ next two games are against the Spurs, who have the worst record in the Western Conference. It will be interesting to see if Davis plays in either game. You would think that the Lakers should be able to beat the Spurs without Davis, but LeBron James is also questionable for the first San Antonio game.
