Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton has officially reached superstar status this season. The playmaking wizard has averaged 27.0 points and 11.8 assists on 51.9% shooting from the field and 44.7% shooting from three. He has quietly led the Pacers to the best offensive rating in NBA history with an incredible 122.5 mark.

According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Haliburton made some more history in November when he became the third player ever to average 25 points and 10 assists on 50% shooting from the field and 40% shooting from three in a month. Only LeBron James and Michael Jordan have accomplished this ridiculous feat.

Haliburton had an incredible November, posting 28.6 points per game and 11.7 assists per game while nailing 47% of his 3-pointers. Unfortunately for the Pacers, they only went 7-7 during the month. The young squad currently holds the No. 7 seed in the east with a 9-8 record.

Haliburton recently dropped 44 points and 10 assists in a 142-132 loss to the Miami Heat. The 23-year-old floor general voiced his disappointment with the defeat, shouldering much of the blame despite his electric individual performance.

“I just want to get to the playoffs, I’m not gonna lie,” Haliburton said, per Pacers reporter Alex Golden. “All the individual stuff is cool, and I’ve accomplished a lot individually already … been an All-Star, which is the main goal of mine when I came to the NBA. Obviously, there’s more for me to achieve individually, but individual success is nothing at this point. I just want to win, I’m tired of being a loser … I’ve got to do a better job of finding ways to win. Obviously, I had a decent game tonight, but I’ve got to be better for us to win games.”

While Haliburton has already proven his basketball excellence, he wants to prove even more by making the playoffs for the first time in his career. He may have accepted blame for Indy’s most recent loss, but Haliburton probably deserves the least amount of blame of anyone on his team. Across 13 appearances in November, Haliburton posted a plus-minus of +64 across seven wins and six losses.
