The Los Angeles Lakers are more interested in acquiring DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso from the Chicago Bulls than Zach LaVine, according to Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
LaVine and the Bulls are open to parting ways and the Lakers are one of the teams LaVine would like to land with.
However, it appears Los Angeles has its eyes on DeRozan and Caruso.
Caruso began his career with the Lakers. He helped the team win the 2020 championship over the Miami Heat at the Walt Disney World bubble. Caruso signed with the Bulls in the offseason of 2021 as an unrestricted free agent and members of the Lakers are still upset they didn’t pay enough money to keep the All-NBA defender.
