After the Philadelphia 76ers finished their morning shootaround, Paul Reed took a shot at Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis.

Reed said Davis is a “big flopper.”

“He’s a big flopper,” Reed said about Davis. “So make sure I don’t get in foul trouble early. I can’t be too aggressive with him. He’s gonna be flailing, so I gotta make sure I stay out of foul trouble.”

The Lakers take on the Sixers tonight in Philadelphia. Davis, who is averaging 22.1 points, 12.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.9 blocks on the season, now has more motivation to have a big game.

NBA NEWS & RUMORS: Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers, Paul Reed, Philadelphia 76ers Updates

There is a lot of star power in this Lakers-Sixers game. Philadelphia has Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, while Los Angeles has Davis and LeBron James.

The Sixers are 11-5 on the season. They are coming off a 127-123 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Meanwhile, the Lakers are 10-7. They beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in their last game.

All eyes will be on the Embiid-Davis matchup. Embiid is 6-1 versus Davis in his career. The Sixers star is averaging 32.1 points, 11.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.9 blocks on the season.

Reed is averaging 4.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Sixers. He plays around 13 minutes a night. It will be interesting to see if Davis attacks Reed if the two get matched up against each other.

Davis is a much better player than Reed, so he should be able to score against the Sixers forward.
