NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium thinks the Sacramento Kings could attempt to acquire Zach LaVine, Pascal Siakam or OG Anunoby.

LaVine is open to getting traded by the Chicago Bulls and the Kings are one of the teams he’d like to land with, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. LaVine signed a four-year, $78 million offer sheet with the Kings in the offseason of 2018 during restricted free agency, but the Bulls matched the offer sheet.

Siakam has one year left on his contract and the Toronto Raptors have not offered him an extension yet. Siakam could be traded before the February 2024 trade deadline and the Kings have been linked to the NBA champion before.

Finally, Anunoby can become an unrestricted free agent next offseason if he declines his 2024-25 player option. The Kings tried to trade for Anunoby last season and this past offseason, so maybe they will try again.

LaVine is averaging 21.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season, Siakam is averaging 19.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists and Anunoby is averaging 15.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists.

The Kings are led by All-Stars De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. They could be a real threat to win it all if they land one more star. Sacramento is 8-5 this season. Fox, Sabonis and Keegan Murray are the only players on the roster who are untouchable in trade talks, sources told NBA Analysis Network.
