One NBA writer is proposing that the Philadelphia 76ers acquire Kyle Kuzma from the Washington Wizards.
Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report proposed the following trade idea between the Sixers and Wizards:
Kyle Kuzma for Marcus Morris Sr., Furkan Korkmaz, Danuel House Jr. and a 2026 first-round pick
The Sixers have the best record in the NBA at 8-1. They haven’t lost since trading James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers.

However, small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. was struck by a car in Philadelphia and will be out for a while, which is why Bailey thinks the Sixers should trade for Kuzma.
“Kuzma has been far from the most efficient scorer over the past several years, but this deal would probably make him a reserve in Philadelphia,” Bailey wrote. “His ability to score in bunches might be even more effective against reserves.”
Kuzma is averaging 23.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists for the Wizards this season while shooting 47.4% from the field, 32.8% from beyond the arc and 79.3% from the free-throw line. Washington is 2-7.
The Sixers could start Tyrese Maxey, De’Anthony Melton, Kuzma, Tobias Harris and Joel Embiid if Philadelphia’s front office figured out a way to acquire Kuzma from Washington.
