Los Angeles Clippers guard Terance Mann wasn’t traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in the blockbuster James Harden trade. The Florida State product, who hasn’t played this season yet due to an ankle injury, spoke to NBA reporter Mark Medina of Sportskeeda about the Harden trade.
“I’m shocked, but I’m here. It’s dope,” Mann said. “I was just shocked. Everybody has been talking about it. But I didn’t know it was going to happen, right then and there.”
The Clippers acquired Harden, P.J. Tucker and Filip Petrusev from the Sixers in exchange for Marcus Morris, Nicolas Batum, Robert Covington and K.J. Martin. Philadelphia wanted Mann, but Los Angeles had no interest in parting ways with the 27-year-old.
“It’s a business,” Mann said. “You’re a businessperson. But it’s cool, though. I like being here.”
