The Dallas Mavericks have one of the best players in the NBA. He is considered a generational player who is a cornerstone of the franchise. However, Luka Doncic recently revealed the only team in Europe he’d consider leaving the NBA to join.

The NBA is continuing its tour overseas to promote the game. More specifically, the Mavericks played two preseason games against the Timberwolves in Abu Dhabi. The Mavericks played a European club in Real Madrid. That is Doncic’s former team he used to play for before going to the NBA and considers returning to if he left the NBA.

“I’ve got a lot of great memories, and I’m happy to be back,” Doncic said. “If I return to Europe one day, I’m sure it will be to Real Madrid. That’s 100%.”

Doncic was born in Slovenia, but at 16, he played professionally for Real Madrid in the EuroLeague. He would be the youngest player to ever play for the team.
