One NBA writer is proposing that the Brooklyn Nets acquire Isaac Okoro from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a bold deal. Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report proposed the following trade idea between the Cavaliers and Nets:
Trade idea: Cleveland Cavaliers trade Isaac Okoro, Dean Wade, 2025 second-round pick and 2025 second-round pick (via MIL) to Brooklyn Nets for Dorian Finney-Smith
“While Okoro’s shot is an obvious concern, it isn’t necessarily a hopeless one,” Buckley wrote in his latest NBA trade column. “After all, he’s a solid 74.9 percent free-throw shooter for his career, and he hit a respectable 35.7 percent of his threes over the past two seasons (albeit on a low volume of attempts).
“Okoro is a menace on defense who’s still finding his way on offense. His shooting is a major question mark, but it wouldn’t stay that way if he maintains last season’s conversion rate (36.3 percent) while significantly upping his volume.”
