One NBA writer is proposing that the Los Angeles Clippers acquire Andrew Wiggins from the Golden State Warriors and Evan Fournier from the New York Knicks in a blockbuster deal. Eddie Bitar of Fadeaway World proposed the following trade idea between the Clippers, Warriors, Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves:
Los Angeles Clippers Receive: Andrew Wiggins, Evan Fournier
Golden State Warriors Receive: Paul George
New York Knicks Receive: Karl-Anthony Towns, Kyle Anderson, Moses Moody, 2028 Clippers First-Round Pick
Minnesota Timberwolves Receive: Julius Randle, Josh Hart, Gary Payton II, Immanuel Quickley, Knicks 2024 First-Round Pick, Knicks 2026 First-Round Pick
Wiggins helped the Warriors win the 2022 NBA title over the Boston Celtics in six games. He signed a four-year, $109 million contract extension in October 2022. The Kansas product will make $24.3 million next season.

The 2014-15 NBA Rookie of the Year with the Timberwolves, Wiggins appeared in 37 games for the Warriors last season. He averaged 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 47.3% from the floor, 39.6% from 3 and 61.1% from the free-throw line.
The 28-year-old Wiggins has career NBA averages of 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists with the Timberwolves and Warriors.
Fournier will make $18.9 million next season. He signed a four-year, $73 million contract with New York in August 2021 as part of a sign-and-trade deal with the Celtics. Fournier only appeared in 27 games last season. He was removed from the rotation by head coach Tom Thibodeau.
After the Knicks lost to the Miami Heat in the 2023 Eastern Conference Semifinals in six games, Fournier told NBA reporters he expected to get traded this offseason.

Fournier averaged 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 2022-23 while shooting 33.7% from the field, 30.7% from beyond the arc and 85.7% from the free-throw line. He has career NBA averages of 14.0 points, 2.7 boards and 2.5 assists with the Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, Celtics and Knicks. Fournier made a career-high 241 3-pointers in 2021-22.
