One NBA writer has named Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby and Jerami Grant as the Memphis Grizzlies’ top trade targets. Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report believes the Grizzlies should try to trade for Bridges, Anunoby or Grant.
“Bridges and Anunoby were both on Memphis’ radar at the trade deadline, and they could be more obtainable over the course of this coming season,” Buckley wrote in his latest NBA trade column. “The Nets could learn they don’t have enough to compete while Bridges is in his prime, and the Raptors may accept that a rebuild is inevitable. If neither of those things happen, then Grant seems like a suitable backup plan, if Memphis can cobble together enough mid-tier salaries to take on his new deal.”
The Grizzlies lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the 2023 playoffs in six games. They traded Tyus Jones to the Washington Wizards and Dillon Brooks to the Houston Rockets and acquired Marcus Smart from the Boston Celtics this offseason.

Memphis also signed former NBA MVP Derrick Rose in free agency. Rose and Smart are expected to mentor Ja Morant, who will miss the first 25 games of next season after the NBA suspended him for showing a gun on an IG Live video for a second time.
Bridges played for the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets last season. He averaged 20.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 46.8% from the field, 38.2% from beyond the arc and 89.5% from the free-throw line.
Anunoby appeared in 67 games for the Toronto Raptors in 2022-23. The NBA champion averaged 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 47.6% overall, 38.7% from 3 and 83.8% from the foul line.
