One NBA writer has named Alec Burks, TJ McConnell and Jalen Suggs as the Milwaukee Bucks’ top trade targets. Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report believes the Bucks should try to trade for Burks, McConnell or Suggs.
“So, the Bucks have to keep searching for rotation upgrades, whether that’s adding wing depth with Burks, upping their playmaking with McConnell or taking a flier on Suggs, the No. 5 pick of the 2021 draft who might need a fresh start following a pair of disappointing seasons with the Orlando Magic,” Buckley wrote in his latest NBA trade column.
The Bucks won the 2021 title over the Phoenix Suns in six games but lost in the second round of the 2022 playoffs to the Boston Celtics and lost to the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2023 playoffs. Next season is a big campaign for Milwaukee, especially since superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo told NBA reporter Tania Ganguli of The New York Times that he will not sign an extension with the Bucks this year. The two-time MVP became eligible for a contract extension in September.
