One NBA writer is proposing that the Los Angeles Clippers acquire Buddy Hield from the Indiana Pacers in a blockbuster trade. Joe Lyon of Fansided’s “8 points, 9 seconds” proposed that the Clippers trade Terance Mann and Ivica Zubac to the Pacers for Hield.
The star of the return for the Pacers would be Terance Mann and then Ivica Zubac, while the Clippers would be adding a starting rotation piece that may help them get to the championship they have so desperately trying to chase with all of the money they are spending,” Lyon wrote. “Additionally the Pacers would be moving off of Buddy Hield, a contract that they don’t necessarily need in the long run any longer. While Hield is an excellent player, the Pacers need a team that will continue to grow together in the coming years all around the same timeline. Hield just doesn’t match the current trajectory of the team.”

NBA NEWS & TRADE RUMORS: Buddy Hield, Indiana Pacers & Los Angeles Clippers Updates
The Clippers need more shooters around Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, so adding Hield would be a smart move. The Pacers are building around Bennedict Mathurin and Tyrese Haliburton, so Hield could be placed on the trade block. It will be interesting to see if the Clippers pursue a trade for Hield.
