During an interview with NBA writer Sam Yip of HoopsHype, Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis revealed what superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is really like behind the scenes. According to Portis, Antetokounmpo “acts like a big kid” all the time.
“Yeah, that’s my boy,” Portis said about Antetokounmpo. “Man, it’s hard to tell because every day is something new. But, he’s always messing with somebody each and every day. In our (Bucks) training room, he kind of acts like a big kid. We have all these Nerf guns, shooting each other. And so, people come in and it’s definitely funny, early in the morning time people just wake up at nine in the morning and they get shot in the face. That’d be funny.”
Portis and Antetokounmpo helped the Bucks win the 2021 championship over the Phoenix Suns in six games. Both players will go down as Milwaukee legends for delivering a title to the city.
