One NBA writer is proposing a three-team blockbuster trade between the Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls and Dallas Mavericks. Lee Tran of Fadeaway World proposed that the Mavericks acquire Harden from the Sixers, the Bulls receive Wood from the Mavericks and the Sixers get DeRozan from the Bulls.

Dallas Mavericks Receive: James Harden

Philadelphia 76ers Receive: DeMar DeRozan, 2025 Second-Round Pick (TOR via DAL), 2028 Second-Round Pick (MIA via DAL)

Chicago Bulls Receive: Christian Wood (Sign-And-Trade), Tim Hardaway Jr., 2027 First-Round Pick (DAL)

Harden has requested a trade from the Sixers and wants to get traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. However, the Sixers don’t have to honor the trade request since Harden doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract. The former NBA MVP averaged 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 10.7 assists last season.

The Mavericks have already told Wood that they will not re-sign him. The Bulls are interested in Wood, who averaged 16.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists last season while shooting 51.5% from the field, 37.6% from beyond the arc and 77.2% from the free-throw line.
