John Wall is holding a private workout for NBA teams in Las Vegas on July 9, according to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and TNT.
Wall is an unrestricted free agent. The 2023 Summer League is currently taking place in Las Vegas, so teams will easily be able to see Wall work out. Haynes didn’t report which teams will be at Wall’s private workout.
Wall appeared in 34 games for the Los Angeles Clippers last season. He averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists while shooting 40.8% from the field, 30.3% from beyond the arc and 68.1% from the free-throw line.
The Clippers traded Wall to the Houston Rockets at the 2023 February trade deadline. The Rockets waived Wall, who wasn’t signed by a team. The Clippers lost to the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2023 playoffs in five games. They replaced Wall with Russell Westbrook, who re-signed with Los Angeles this summer.
