There was a sense heading into this NBA offseason that the Atlanta Hawks were going to make some changes. As a result, there have been some changes made.
John Collins has been removed from the team. In exchange for the young forward, the Hawks received a modest return, to put it politely. Even so, he is no longer a member of the Atlanta Hawks.
Apparently, there is a concern on the part of this team as far as clearing up cap space is concerned. It’s fair to say that. The Hawks seem to have a limited ceiling with their roster, even though they have a lot of money invested in it.
This being said, the issue of cap space isn’t the only one that needs to be addressed here. There is also a need for the Hawks to put together a better roster.
It would be a failure if they spend this summer getting cheaper without improving in any way.
Would OG Anunoby of the Toronto Raptors help them get better?
