Why The Los Angeles Clippers Do The Deal 

It’s hard to say. We will say this: the Clippers are in a bit of a bind. 

George is prone to getting injured. So is Kawhi Leonard. At this point, relying on two injury-prone players is not serving this team. 

Meanwhile, Leonard is expected to miss most of the season. He isn’t exactly a viable trade candidate. That makes George the odd man out. 

Sure, the Clippers could punt on this season and prepare for the next one. If George gets hurt again, his trade value will continue to sink. Here, they’re getting three exciting young players and a pair of first-round picks.
